In order to speed up
the process of the implementation of the project, a three-day workshop planned
on 9-11.02.2022 was postponed due to the critical situation of war in Eastern
North DRC. The situation was alarming. Staff and selected teachers could not
leave their families. The meeting was organized to solidarize with concerned
staff and reflect on strategies to continue the project. Colleagues from Goma
(CBCA & ULPGL) expressed that there is a very high psychosis that could not
allow people to leave their families and come to Gisenyi. After discussion, two
decisions were made. First, it was decided to do summaries of analysis in
different groups and have an online workshop for presentation on 15.02.2023
from 8 am. Different groups on perspectives curriculum toward digitalization at
different levels, choice and the choice making of digital platforms, and
quantitative analysis from questionnaires administered to teachers. Second, the
decision to have an offline workshop would be decided during the online
workshop on 15.02.2023 after observing the evolution of the war in Eastern
DRC.
