Workshop On The Preparation Of Preliminary Activities For Relaunching The Project

During for this 8 days,thet team composed by Dr. Christine Nyiramana, Dr. Emmanuel Niyibizi, Meschac Vunanga, Past Samuel Mutabazi, Michael Ajuamungu ,Patient Kighuta and Marcellin MUSHIMIYIMANA work on the strategic plan and contextualization of project budget
This team also reflect on the preparation of preliminary activities for relaunching the project, strategic measures to ensure effective implementation of activities and related budget and preparation of the project steering committee meeting
The whole project team including the finance manager and accountant to reflect and make shared decisions on effective financial management and implementation of the project.

As part of project "Resilience of Educational Institutions through Digitalization-a Reaction to COVID-19(REDICO)", Our VC Prof. Dr. Prof.Dr. Penine UWIMBABAZI signed a handover of project materials to BNEP-CPR.The project is being implemented in partnership with Bread for the World | Brot für die Welt
Our partners from DRC and Rwanda. Materials are worth more than 80M francs are comprises of

-Tablets
-Solar panels
-Printers & network devices
They'll be distributed in schools & churches to enhance quality Education through digitalization.


Workshop On The Process Of Digitalization Of Education: Technical And Pedagogical Aspect

During 6 days, teacher trainers trained were brought together at Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (PIASS –Rwanda, Huye Campus. In partnership with Université Libre des Pays des Grandes Lacs (ULPGL), DRC Conseil Protestant au Rwanda - Bureau National de l’Enseigenement Protestant (CPR– BNEP) Communauté Baptiste au Centre de l’Afrique (CBCA - DRC North Kivu) Reseau d’Innovation Organisationnelle (RIO– DRC South Kivu) Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg, Germany In the framework of the project Resilience of Educational Institutions through Digitalisation - A Reaction to Covid– 19 (ReDiCo) in Great Lakes Region (Pilot phase) Funded by Bread for the World, Germany. During this workshop, project IT staff(Michael Ajuamungu, Patient Kauta, Athanase, Ghislin) and Prof. Dr. h. c. Annette Scheunpflug have devlopped topic related to digital litteracy and technical digital skills.
